Decorating with Tile and Stone
Chase Carpets & Tile has over 1,000 unique, diverse and beautiful varieties of tile, which we can install for you as porches, showers, kitchen splashes, and more.
Our ceramic tile is made from a mixture of clays, shaped and fired at high temperatures, which results in a hard body. These come in both glazed and unglazed varieties.
We also carry a number of natural stone products, including travertine, marble, tumbled marble, slate, quartzite, and granite.
-Unglazed tiles are baked pieces of clay, with color variation throughout the body. These are generally thicker and denser than glazed tiles.
-Glazed tiles are covered with a glass wear layer, which is fused to the tile surface using very high heat. These tiles are primarily suited for residential and light to medium commercial installations.
There are several natural stone products; some that are commonly known are travertine, marble, tumbled marble, slate, quartzite, and granite.
